How to filter by order source in StoreHero
Last updated: November 5, 2025
If you’d like to view or analyze specific orders from certain channels (such as POS, Online Store, or TikTok Shop) within StoreHero, you can use the Order Source filtering feature.
Setting up order source filters
To filter orders by their source in Shopify:
Go to Settings → Connections → locate your Shopify connection.
Click on the Filter icon next to the Connect/Disconnect button.
In the Filters dialog that appears, select Order Source from the Column dropdown.
Choose a filter condition:
Contains
Does not contain
Is equal to
(We recommend using “Contains” for reliability.)
Enter the channel you want to filter by — for example:
pos→ for in-store salesonline_store→ for website salestiktok_shop→ for TikTok Shop orders
Click Update Filters to save your configuration.
Important considerations
Filtering by order source helps you segment data by sales channel, making it easier to analyze performance and costs per channel.
Applying a new filter will automatically trigger a data resync, so you may notice a short delay while the system updates.
Once complete, the sync status indicator will turn green to confirm the data has been refreshed with your selected filters applied.
Verifying your setup
After the sync finishes:
Go to your Store Overview or Orders page to confirm only the selected order sources are included in your data.
You can adjust or remove the filter at any time by clicking the same Filter icon again and editing or deleting your conditions.
Tip: Order Source filtering is especially useful for merchants who sell across multiple channels (like Shopify Online Store, POS, and TikTok Shop) and want to isolate sales performance per platform.
