TikTok GMV Max campaign data not showing in StoreHero

If you're running TikTok GMV Max campaigns and notice that your campaign data isn't appearing in StoreHero, this is due to a current limitation with TikTok's API.

Why GMV Max data isn't available

TikTok's API does not yet support the GMV Max campaign type. This means that currently no analytics tool or third-party platform (including StoreHero) can display GMV Max campaign data. This is a limitation on TikTok's side, not with StoreHero's integration.

Workaround solution

While we wait for TikTok to add API support for GMV Max campaigns, you can manually add your TikTok ad spend as a marketing cost to ensure accurate profit calculations:

  1. Calculate your daily TikTok ad spend

  2. Go to your Settings > Order Cost > Marketing Cost in StoreHero

  3. Set up a recurring daily marketing cost for your TikTok ad spend

  4. Adjust the amount at the end of each month for accuracy based on your actual spend

For example, if you're spending approximately $330 per day on TikTok ads, you would set up a recurring $330 daily TikTok ad cost in your marketing costs.

When will this be fixed?

TikTok has indicated that API support for GMV Max campaigns is coming in the next few months. Once TikTok makes this API available, StoreHero will integrate it immediately to provide full campaign data visibility.

This workaround ensures you maintain accurate profit metrics at the store level while we wait for TikTok's API update.
