How do I set up customized reports from the Dashboard
Last updated: November 5, 2025
The Custom Dashboard helps you track your most important metrics by letting you organize them into focused, personalized groups for daily reviews, team meetings, or channel-specific performance.
What You Can Customize
1. Starred Metrics (Top Priority Section)
You can pin any metric in StoreHero to your Starred section by clicking the star icon next to it. These starred metrics:
Always appear at the top of your dashboard
Are automatically included in daily, weekly, and monthly email or Slack reports
Help ensure the most important KPIs are always visible
You can star metrics from pages like Ads Overview, Store Overview, and more.
2. Goals (Simple View in Dashboard)
A basic version of the Goals tool is also visible in the dashboard. You can track key goals like:
Revenue (e.g., Net Sales or Contribution Margin)
Advertising Spend Targets
While this view provides quick insights, StoreHero also offers a more advanced Goals tool covered in a separate KB or video lesson.
3. Custom Metric Groups
You can organize metrics into named groups that suit your workflow or team structure.
Common Examples:
Acquisition – Tracks new customer sales, CAC, gross profit per customer, first-order contribution margin
Retention – Includes net sales, repeat sales, and Klaviyo metrics
Weekly Reports – Custom group for recurring meetings
Each group helps you zero in on metrics relevant to specific strategies or departments.
How to Customize the Dashboard
Step-by-Step Guide:
1. Rearranging Metrics Within Sections

Metrics cannot be dragged across different groups.

You can drag to reorder custom groups
