Our Founders' Journey
Co-founders Karl O'Brien and Thomas Gleeson have seen how difficult this problem can be firsthand. Karl previously founded a digital marketing agency and observed how data tracking and privacy changes have made it hard to know what’s actually working. Thomas experienced this in his family business, one of Ireland’s oldest e-commerce stores, managing the conversations the marketing and finance teams and poor Thomas stuck in the middle! All joking aside - this is a common problem with marketing and finance often speaking completely different languages. During his time working at Shopify, Thomas also saw the playbook on how the best brands in the world are solving this problem. Unfortunately that still involves a lot of spreadsheets. While there are marketing tools and finance tools, there are no tools that create a shared language between both.

StoreHero sits at the intersection between marketing and finance. We allow stores to automatically sync all of their sales and marketing data, but unlike other tools, we also sync their costs too. For the first time, store owners have a real-time view of whether their profit is growing or shrinking every day.
