Granting StoreHero Access in Shopify

If your agency or the StoreHero team needs access to your Shopify store for integration or troubleshooting, you’ll need to ensure the correct permissions are enabled.

Follow the steps below to provide the necessary access:

Step 1 — Log into Shopify

  • Go to your Shopify Admin dashboard.

Step 2 — Open Users & Permissions

  • From the left-hand menu, click Settings → Users and permissions.

Step 3 — Select the Agency/Staff Member

  • Find your agency user (listed under Staff or Collaborators).

  • Click on their name to edit permissions.

Step 4 — Enable App Permissions

  • Scroll down to the Apps and channels section.

  • Toggle App permissions → Add and remove apps to ON.

Step 5 — Save Changes

  • Click Save at the bottom of the page.

Important Note

Granting “Add and remove apps” permission allows StoreHero to connect your Shopify store securely for data syncing and analysis. No additional permissions are needed beyond this for the connection setup.
